The MetaCreation Work Badge was designed by Xiao Gaofan, a designer who graduated as a postgraduate from the School of Urban Design, Central Academy of Fine Arts. She is also an exhibiting artist at the 2023 *Unexpected Harvest* Contemporary Art Exhibition.
The design incorporates English abbreviations as its core elements, forming cosmic orbital layers. Two ports are created at the upper and lower beveled corners, representing both the online and offline realms, as well as the duality of abstraction and figuration. Within the metaverse, these form a labyrinthine path, reflecting the mindset of exploration and the concept of sustainability.
Starting from 2024, all creators participating in the MET Beijing Residency will receive a commemorative badge featuring this emblem.
